How to Press Loose Eyeshadow

In today’s video, I demonstrate how to Press loose eyeshadow into a 26 mm pan. I take a Makeup Geek Loose pigment and press it into a 26 mm eyeshadow pan which is the standard 1 inch diameter pan for eyeshadow. I demonstrate checking for binder to the eyeshadow so that you will ensure binder is not necessary to add, I show the 3 step pressing method and some tips and tricks to ensure the final press looks even and professional. I also press a loose Inglot Shadow and demonstrate the different consistencies that may occur and what you may encounter when you are pressing a different shadow that may still contain binder. Finally, I show that even though the pigment may contain binder, you may still need to seal the top layer with a spritz of 91% Alcohol on top of the tissue paper to ensure that the pigment gets sealed and won’t fall out of the pan.
