Small Solar Air Pump review

In this video, I’m reviewing the Solar Pond Aerator with 1500mAh Battery Backup, that I received from POPOSOAP. This small solar air pump has 3-modes: high strong bubbles, low soft bubbles and a 10 second on/off mode. It is rated IPX5 waterproof and can be used in any weather (do not submerge the pump directly into the pond). I tested this solar air pump in my small quarantine koi pond (no fish are in it currently) over a period of a few days and was pleased with the end result. The air pump worked great with just using the airline directly to one air-stone. It did not work well for me using the provided T splitter for aeration using 2 air-stones. But this may have been because of the depth of my pond and the amount of airline used. I used the entire 8-1/2 feet of airline provided with the product for my testing purposes. When it was just a direct airline from the air pump to one airstone the pump worked absolutely great! We had a period of a few sunny days in a row so during the day the battery backup was able to get fully charged and in the morning it was still running (altho the amount of bubbles was diminished by this time) it had been running over 18 hrs from the point in late afternoon that the solar panel no longer had sunlight until the morning when sunrise again shined on it. So it definitely worked for the 12-14 hrs (at the high strong bubble mode) as they stated in the product description. This would definitely be a great air pump for a small deck/patio pond or tub in an area where electric outlets are non existent. It also could be used with fishing for example, to keep shiner bait alive or to keep caught fish stock alive. Or in a pond where extra aeration is needed especially during the hot summer months. I’ll certainly be using this on my deck next spring in a small tub pond as there are no outlets in that area but it faces southward for plenty of sunlight all day.
