The steps to generating your own day trading hypotheses are: 1. Identify areas where a market move is expected to begin 2. Determine the type of move and trade - i.e. breakout 3. Identify what would negate the trade 4. Create multiple alternate hypotheses To do the above, you'll also need to systematically gather objective facts upon which you will create your day trading hypothesis.
