Download your free book The Beginner Boxer Toolkit here - https://www.myboxingcoach.com Slipping punches and rolling punches are very cool boxing techniques to use at close range, during infighting. We are used to seeing these skills used with hooks and uppercuts, combining power with sound defensive awareness. But what about using these techniques at long range, combining slips and rolls with straight punches (or other longer range shots)? In this video we go through 4 sequences of skills, and these fit perfectly into 4 rounds of boxing drills: 1. Combining slips inside and outside with the back hand and lead hand respectively. 2. Delivering punches after the slips (generating additional power). 3. Combining the rolls with punches. 4. Delivering punches after the rolls. As I mentioned, turn these 4 sequences into some really effective boxing drills. So complete 4 rounds of 2 minutes each round with each sequence. Remember when doing drills, slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
