Secret Black Sand Beach and a DOMINICAN Hitch Hiker. E100!!!

Dominica is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean. We are so happy we sailed our Leopard 45 catamaran there! It's unspoiled, for now. So visit while you can. In this episode, we continue our exploration of this amazing island. We meet up with Omar, our tour guide turned dear friend. He took us to Syndicate Falls, another win for Jeff. We loved visiting his friends' farm, where these two men, one 84 and the other 92 years old, climbed jelly coconut trees to give us a taste of their favorite food, and showed us around their pineapple plantation. On our way to the black sand beach, we picked up Frederick, whose "right name is Peter", but some people call him Frederick. He told us his last name three time, but I couldn't understand it. He was just the sweetest man. Lastly, we visited the black sand beach, where the sand is ... well, black. It's also magnetic so it shines silver. Just beautiful!
