Two more organ donation was done through Donate Life from AAIHMS & Kiran Hospital Surat

Lungs, Intestine , 4 Kidney, 2 Liver, and 2 Corneas have been donated from AAIHMS and Kiran Hospital Surat through Donate Life. Along with this donations till date Donate Life has successfully contributed to donation of 1117 organs and tissue with 464 Kidney, 199 Liver, 8 Pancreas, 45 Heart, 34 Lungs, 1 Intestine , 4 Hands and 362 Corneas giving new lease of life and vision to 1025 organ failure patients in our country and globe. We salute the family members of Late Aarav Nayanbhai Antala age 10 and Late Navinbhai Nanubhai Chaudhary age 53 for their brave decision to donate the vital organs of their beloved after doctors declared them brain dead. Lungs transplantation was done at MGM Hospital Chennai. Intestine transplantation was done at Global Hospital Mumbai. 2 Liver transplantation was done at K.D.Hospital Ahmedabad and Kiran Hospital Surat. Out of 4 Kidney, one each Kidney transplantation was done at IKDRC Ahmedabad and another two Kidney transplantation was done at Kiran Hospital Surat. Corneas were donated to Lokdhrasti Chaksu Bank Surat. We are very much thankful to Doctors and Management of AAIHMS Hospital Surat and Kiran Hospital Surat for their wholehearted support to this noble cause. We are grateful and provide our gratitude to Civil Aviation Ministry, Surat Airport Authority ,CISF and Indigo Airlines for delaying takeoff time by 20 minutes for successful transfer of organs. Special thanks to Surat City Police for providing two Green Corridor. This was 96th Green Corridor provided by Surat City Police. We are also thankful to NOTTO, SOTTO Gujarat, MGM Hospital Chennai, K.D.Hospital Ahemadabad, Kiran Hospital Surat, Doctors and Various Hospital of Surat, Surat City Police,Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat Collector, Surat Airport Authority, CISF, Euro Foods, Print & Electronic Media and Volunteers of Donate Life for their wholehearted support in this life saving mission.
