Using the QU16 I walk thru the process of ringing out mains. The same process can be used for monitors. Note that my mic+speaker is quite exaggerated (about 12-14 in) for this demo. The results are also specific to this mic beta58 and EV ZXA1 speaker. You will of course use your own combinations. WARNING - HIGH SOUND LEVELS I’m intentionally pushing the mic into feedback for this exercise. BE AWARE BEFORE YOU START WATCHING. Also I mention that this demo is a starting reference point and every process will generate diff results. Finally, with any EQ changes,the best practice is to make as minimal a change as possible.
