Parara Campground - Yorke Peninsula / South Australia
Parara Campground is a short 120kms from our home in Adelaide and is one of many campgrounds that can be found on the Yorke Peninsula. A permit is required to camp at these campgrounds and these permits can be purchased online, see the following links. https://yorke.sa.gov.au/bush-camping-... Parara Campground is only a few kilometres south of Ardrossan and offers camping near the beach. It is a large open camp area offering one drop toilet and plenty of camping room to spread out. We spent the Anzac weekend there arriving on the Saturday early afternoon and leaving there on the Monday afternoon. The weather was kind to us with a gentle breeze and sunshine each day while we stopped there.
