Gameplay/walkthrough of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - Mission 15 - Loose Ends! Enjoy! Loose Ends is the fifteenth mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. This is the last level the player where plays as Gary "Roach" Sanderson, and also the last level the player sees Ghost alive. This level has become infamous amongst fans, as it sees the death of two key protagonists in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, while also showing how General Shepherd betrayed his allies. Plot: Knowing that Makarov is hiding in one of two places, General Shepherd sends Task Force 141 to both locations to kill Makarov. Soap and Price go to the Boneyard in Afghanistan, while Ghost, Roach and the other members head to a safehouse at the Georgian-Russian border. The task force makes their way to the estate where Makarov is presumed to be hiding; however, they are ambushed by mines and pre-fired mortar shots, killing several members. Roach barely manages to avoid being killed, and the surviving members repel the ambush. Archer and Toad soon notice several Jeeps driving out, and destroy them with Javelins - however, they have no confirmation if Makarov was in them. Upon arriving at the estate, they find no sign that Makarov was there; however, they notice a computer containing information regarding his whereabouts. Roach sets a DSM to download the information, before defending the estate with Ghost and the surviving members from a counterattack by his men. Upon gathering the intelligence, Roach and the group make their way to the extraction point. On the way, Roach is struck by a mortar, prompting Ghost to carry him over; the remaining members are soon killed, leaving the two as the only survivors. Arriving at the extraction point, a Little Bird gunship provides cover fire while Shepherd personally walks out before commenting on cutting "loose ends". He suddenly shoots Roach, then kills Ghost before he is able to react. Shepherd grabs the DSM from Roach before two Shadow Company soldiers soak gasoline on them, after which Shepherd tosses his cigar at their bodies, burning them. Price's voice can be heard on Ghost's radio, warning them of Shepherd's betrayal, but it is too late.
