The beautiful new Braila Bridge, crossing the Danube River in eastern Romania, is a real eye-catcher. With almost 2 km in length and a main span of 1,120 m, it is the largest bridge over the Danube River, and the third longest suspension bridge in the European Union. mageba designed and manufactured the bridge’s exceptional modular expansion joints to accommodate movements of the bridge deck of up to 2.3 meters.
