When the pandemic hit and I got a pay cut I started to really go into my spending. After going through all of my expenses I noticed that I spent over $18,000 on things I didn’t even need. Yikes right!! Yes these were things that I just brought for the sake of buying NOT necessities. I was spending way too much on online shopping, Amazon, Target, and eating out. After doing the math I realized that this had to stop. I need to stop spending so much and start saving more for my future. I no longer wanted to live paycheck to paycheck and I don’t want to spend my entire life working without having anything to show for it. I want to better prepare for my future/retirement and my money habits were not helping.
