How to Make an Extra Hand Vise Stand From Scrap Metal In this video I show how I make a portable helping hand vise stand with reclaimed scrap material. I made my first "Extra hand" vise stand about 8 years ago and I use it almost every time I'm the shop. If they were stolen tomorrow I would make replacements immediately. No hesitation. There are times when you have a pile of parts and each one needs a little bit of work done it. Moving them around the to complete the task would be too time consuming. These small lightweight vise stands allow you to bring the vise to the work and save time.
