Additional CP Traffic Dinesh Kumar Gupta briefed regarding the traffic arrangements being made for the Independence Day celebrations. Dinesh Kumar Gupta said," On 13th August, we will hold a full dress rehearsal. 3000 Traffic Police personnel are deployed on duty on 15th August. Our personnel will be deployed along the routes of VIP movement, parking areas and diversion points. Today 10 pm onwards, commercial vehicles except those carrying essential items will not be allowed to enter from the Delhi border. We have also issued an advisory. On 14th August, similar diversions will be in effect...As there will be road restrictions and diversions on 15th August, we request commuters to use Delhi Metro." ..............................................................................................
