Este é um documentário de 20 videos que foi realizado no âmbito do projecto INOV-Art/ DgArtes do Ministério da Cultura de Portugal em parceria com o Núcleo de Etnomusicologia do Departamento de Música da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, Brasil. Definimos como meta, entre outras, devolver material em audio/video aos grupos, depoimentos especificando aspectos de organização, finanças e de funções existentes nomeadamente o presidente e o mestre do batuque de todas as Nações visitadas. The project was made to light together with Anita Holanda Freitas from the Núcleo de Entomusicologia. The main goal, among others, was to give back the audio/video material to the studied groups with interviews and informal presentations. The President and the batuque master were the elements that we had some talk in all Maracatu Nations.
