Reviewing my new Edelrid SPOC ultra light pulley with backstop. I got this as an alternative to the Petzl Traxion micro. The Edelrid SPOC has a few benefits compared to the Micro Traxion. These are: It is 60g instead of 85g, pulley efficiency of 92% instead of 91%, rope diameter 7-11mm instead of 8-11mm and best of all its also cheaper :). As I am on a mission to go as light as possible the SPOC was a must have for me. So far I am very imporessed with it, only time will tell how well it will last.
