Hi, we are Mamta Munjal & welcome back to our channel. In this particular episode, we will be discovering what places can be visited around Porbandar. Quite ancient sites can be explored if you got enough time on hand. Ghumli is an ancient site in the foothills of Barda Dungar, 35 km from Porbandar. It was founded by Sal Kumar in the 7th century. Today Ghumli is an important archaeological site of Gujarat. Here one can see Navlakha temple, which is believed to be the oldest Sun temple in Gujarat. There is a Ganesha temple inside the Navlakha temple, which is known as "Ghumali Ganesh".
