I was writing it in Brian Kurtz’s voice. And it was based on a story I told about the first time Boardroom founder Marty Edelston hired Eugene Schwartz. But that (like most of the Titans sales letter) resonated so much because I was also writing from MY experience. I have my own stories and experiences with people who’ve been “Titans” in my life — including some who took the stage at Titans, and some who would’ve deserved a spot.
