This morning (10 October 2021) I went to visit the “dry river”, a lot of rain came last night and I had a feeling that the dry river would not be able to live up to its name and keep dry. When I was growing up, I used to hear older folks saying “ Dry River come down “, when this happens there is a separation into two parts because nothing can “pass the river”, few tried and get washed down to the river mouth. Today’s flowing is like any ordinary river but because of recent volcanic activities, MUD is the main ingredient.
