The plot is about Aa couple from China moved to Canada. The woman, a house wife, makes the dumplings for her husband before he departs for work. Later, she observes that one of the dumplings awakens and starts to cuddle her like a baby. Since she doesn’t have any child so she considers Bao as her son and starts to care for him like a mother. Later, she observes that he is growing more independent and interested in the outside world, and that he is also drifting away from his mother.
