S: Extremely useful and easy to use A: Very useful B: Pretty useful C: Useful D: Limited utility E: Very limited utility F: Have some utility but probably not worth the trip to the PC F-: Don't use these N/A: Not-at-all useful for the Main Story Some additional notes and corrections: -I made an annotation for this but it bares repeating: spread moves like Surf get their damage cut by 50% in Gen 3. EDIT: unless they hit all Pokemon on the field. So EQ and Explosion don't get their damage cut. I REALLY wish I knew that while recording this because it would have been good to mention. I don't think it would change any placements but still. -Quagsire and Mantine can both have Water Absorb as an ability. If you're using them, make extra sure they have that ability instead of Damp or Swift Swim. -About the Mt. Battle TM's: they cost 4000 PokeCoupons. A run of Mt. Battle from Area 1 through Area 7 will get you 3800... That's why I basically assume those TM's are off the table. One of the criteria is that we're trying to finish the game at a decent pace -Misdreavus gets Perish Song and Pain Split. Pretty cool, but still not good enough for B Tier in my opinion. -Absol isn't slow. lol -Dealing with Hyper Mode during the first part of the game isn't too annoying if you just never use Shadow Rush. Hyper Mode only activates if you use Shadow Rush. I never knew that! -Most importantly: Don't let my analysis dissuade you from using a Pokemon you want to use. Part of the fun of revisiting Pokemon Colosseum is using Pokemon you've never used before.
