"Miya-san, Miya-san!", Japanese Patriotic Song - ENGLISH Lyrics

I apologise for the rough translation of the lyrics to English, since I based it off from www.geocities.jp/general_sasaki/historia-miyasan-eng.html and books.google.com/books?id=6HYsBgAAQBAJ ... and also Google Translate. "Miya-san, Miya-san!", or "Tonyare-bushi", is one of the first western-marching styled Japanese patriotic songs. The song was created sometime around the Meiji Restoration, retelling the Battle of Toba-Fushimi, between the armies of the shogunate and the armies of the pro-Imperial faction. The pictures used as the background are an paintings of: 1. Tokugawa Yoshinobu before Toba-Fushimi. 2. Shogunate-Imperial clash at Toba. 3. Shogunate-Imperial clash at Fushimi. 4. Shogunate forces fleeing the battlefield, pursued by the pro-Imperial forces. 5. The Fall of Osaka, and the burning of the city, after the defeat of the shogunate forces at Toba-Fushimi. 6. Tokugawa Yoshinobu, escaping Osaka through the sea. 7. Emperor Meiji's court relocates to Edo after the shogunate collapse. The appearing symbols are the mon of the Mori clan, governing Choshu, spliced with the Shimazu clan's, governing Satsuma, and the Imperial Chrysanthemum crest. Original video source:    • 維新マーチ
