Devices which conserve and recycle water could become critical infrastructure in our homes in the future, as global temperatures rise and the population’s water usage changes. Every day, more and more people experience water stress. Humanity is facing a water crisis like never before, due to unequal distribution, climate change, and a sharp rise in global freshwater demand. And in a few years’ time, there simply won’t be enough water available for all of us. The UN suggests the demand for water could increase by as much as 30% by 2030.
