Hi guys, and welcome back to my channel! If you’re new here, my name’s Rachel and I’m a huge Eurovision fan as well as a musician. In today’s video, I reacted to Portugal’s entry for Eurovision 2023, ‘Ai Coração’ by Mimicat. I really enjoyed this one. It was pleasant to listen to, had a real sass to it, and some great change up’s in the rhythms. The instrumental portion was also great, so many great little ideas with the guitars, and backing vocals. My only concern was the change up towards the end to a more hip hop style drum pattern, it didn’t glue in as well as I was hoping. But overall, a really great performance by an artist who owns her space so well.
