Il lago che si trova su un altopiano situato a 850 metri sul mare è il bacino artificiale più alto di tutta la Sardegna e si inserisce in un paesaggio incontaminato composto da boschi di leccio e di rovere e dalla tipica macchia mediterranea, in cui vivono cervi e mufloni. Non solo dunque un luogo splendido e selvaggio ma anche l'unico dove è possibile praticare la pesca del luccio in tutta la regione! The lake which is located on a plateau 850 meters above the sea is the highest artificial basin in Sardinia and is part of an uncontaminated landscape composed of holm oak and oak woods and the typical Mediterranean scrub, where deer and mouflons lives. Not only therefore a splendid and wild place but also the only one where it is possible to practice pike fishing in the whole region!
