So this is the first concept video I‘ve ever done and I couldn’t be happier. This last year, especially the last few months didn’t do my mental health any favours. iIm a rather optimistic person but damn - I’ve been struggling with self-doubting and self-dismissive thoughts so much I felt like I was stuck. Stuck in this mind. Stuck in this reality. I was so desperately trying to escape it all, but it all didn’t seem to go away... and then this idea popped up. I finally stopped trying to suppress my emotions and made them into art. Letting them out. I’m still struggling, after all it IS a journey :D but this project feels like on more step closer to self-acceptance. This video is meant to visualise this feeling of being stuck, alone, helpless whilst everything looks ok from the outside.
