The Grand Wash is a short relatively easy trail in Capitol Reef National Park. The trail winds through towering sandstone cliffs, colorful rock formations, and has tons of cool features eroded into the walls. This is a point to point hike that can either be shuttled or hiked out and back. We only had one car, but didn't want to hike the full thing twice with Zoey, so I ran back through the canyon and picked up the car while Zoey and Hailey played in the sandy dirt.
