Visit the Namakkal Anjaneya Temple which is almost on the way to Palani. You can also visit the fort and Lakshmi Narasimha temple which is opp to Namakkal Anjaneya Temple. After Namakkal temple start to Palani then ideally you would have given 2 breaks for you and for the car. Go in a single stretch to palani and take any hotel which is close to temple foot steps. Hotel subham is exactly in front of the Palani temple steps which is also a decent hotel to stay with car parking facility. Note: If you have less time dont go for winch or rope way to reach palanin temple as the waiting time on general weekends is too high and it will cost you lot of time.
