We are Carol and Ken and we like to share tips on travelling in our little red campervan, a Nissan NV200 converted by Sussex Campervans. In this episode, we wake up at Lydney Harbour after a stormy night and get a van inspection from our furry neighbour friend! We head to Hopewell Colliery hoping for a mine tour but we were out of luck as they were only accepting online bookings. To console ourselves we have a breakfast treat at an unusual location - a yellow double decker bus themed on the hit comedy TV show “Only Fools and Horses”. Our next stop is Symonds Yat where we admire the outstanding views that haven’t changed at all since our last visit in 1993! After a walk through the woods we relocate down to the River Wye but the rain cancels our plans for another walk so we go for a wet drive looking for possible park ups.
