♡♡♡ --------- ᴏᴘᴇɴ ᴍᴇ! --------- ♡♡♡ W A R N I N G : The below text is longer than normal~ If you follow me on IG, you’ll know that I went to Seoul and Busan last weekend with my sister! I bought the Global Package for Asia Song Festival 2016, which was on Sunday, October 9th, so we decided to spend October 8th in Seoul before heading over to Busan. Having only one day in Seoul was definitely too short, but we tried to go to the places we wanted to go the most (Kamong, Viva Polo, COEX Artium, and the doll clothing store in Hongdae) and had lots of fun. A note on the doll clothing store: it's called 소품공장 (SP Factory) and is located right next to Artbox in Hongdae. There's a sign that says it'll only remain open in 2016, but there's always the possibility that the owners decide to continue operating next year. There are more dolls inside than I thought, and the clothes are really cute too. I only picked a few items just for the sake of buying something, because I don't particularly like dressing my dolls up, but after putting Sewoo in his outfit (will show you guys in my haul video), I wanted to go back and buy more clothes and accessories! My sister also regrets not buying anything, so we'll definitely go back to the store if it's still open the next time we're in Seoul. As for ASF, it was really cool seeing so many different artists all on one stage. However, it got really cold in Busan at night (~9°C) so we were freezing by the time the concert started. We tried to keep our hands inside pockets and bags for long periods of time, but of course we wanted to film / take pics when EXO came out! After ~5 minutes of filming, I had trouble typing texts because my fingers were so cold ㅠㅠㅠㅠ will definitely dress warmer next time!! The stage was also not ideal; we thought we would be able to see everyone clearly from the 4th row, which was the case when they came out to the very front. However, we only found out that there’s a pit section in the center of the stage once we got to the stadium (it wasn’t shown on seating charts) so the fans standing in there definitely had the best view. And EXO only sang 3 songs total, with only 1 song where they stood at the very front of the stage closer to us, so we didn’t get to see them enough 😭😭😭 although I guess there’s never a “enough” for EXO… Also!! I need to complain about my phone camera. Again, if you follow me on IG, you’ll know that I recently switched to an iPhone 7 Plus. I was so excited for the dual camera since I thought that would guarantee much better photos and videos at a zoom. But my videos were so blurry and my phone wouldn’t even focus on Yixing for a while 😡 I was so frustrated during the concert, especially will all the fans around me holding up their intense DSLRs. I’m thinking about investing in another camera, or maybe just giving up on taking photos / videos altogether so that I can focus on staring at their beautiful faces next time ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway~ it was overall a fun trip! It was our first time in Busan and we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the sea is. Hopefully we’ll get to go back sometime, if not Busan then definitely Seoul. My sister keeps telling me she wants to spend a week or two in the city like I did back in March haha… I’d love to do that too but timing might be difficult. Maybe next year during the encore concerts?
