Hi everyone! Welcome on board another train cabride! This time we travel from Maastricht all the way to Amsterdam. A first timer on my channel. Since a few months I'm permitted to drive on more domestic lines than before. Maastricht - Eindhoven is one of the tines added to my drivers schedule. Enjoy the long ride! 0:00 Maastricht We start our journey all the way in the south of The Netherlands. Welcome in Maastricht. A wonderful city with lots of history. When you're visiting The Netherlands, make sure to go here as well. Perfect opportunity to see our beautiful flat country from the train. Although you will stop some small hills all the way in the south of our country. As can be seen on the video as well. 3:40 Maastricht Noord Splitting up the railways here. On the left trains can be lead to the harbor. And after Maastricht Noord there's the line from Maastricht to Heerlen. 5:31 Bunde Traveling through a wonderful country side. And we have to slow down a little because of the sharp turns we must make with the train. 9:52 Beek-Elsloo 11:46 Geleen-Lutterade Tracks from another harbor coming on the left side. Right after that the station Geleen-Lutterade. 13:46 Sittard First stop on the line. Sittard. Just before this station the line Heerlen - Sittard is joining us on the right side. 21:18 Susteren 23:24 Echt 25:51 Maasbracht An extra track in the middle. A place where empty trains or freight trains have the option to wait for their place in the train schedule. 29:46 Roermond Just before Roermond the line from Germany is joining us on the right side. 32:45 Line Splitting Up On the right side you'll find the line to Venlo. 34:13 Spoorbrug Buggenum 40:46 Spoorburg Kelpen 43:41 Weert Arriving at Weert. With signals that allow us to stop and depart with a maximum speed of 80km/h. 49:43 Province Border Limburg - Noord-Brabant 50:32 Maarheeze 53:56 Oud Heeze 54:46 Heeze 56:34 Geldrop 58:54 Eindhoven Arriving at Eindhoven station. A big shunting yard before we arrive here. And of the right side you'll see the line coming from Venlo joining in. At Eindhoven I forwarded the long stop in the video in high speed. Here's Eindhoven Stadion! 1:04:57 Eindhoven Strijp-S 1:06:21 Acht 1:08:16 Best 1:12:34 Boxtel Just after Boxtel you'll see the line splitting up towards Tilburg on the left. 1:17:28 Vught Right after Vught another line coming from Tilburg is joining in on the left. 1:19:58 's Hertogenbosch Slowly arriving at Den Bosch ('s Hertogenbosch). After a short stop we continue our ride towards Utrecht. If you look very well you will spot a red flashing signal in the Nijmegen direction after we've departed from 's Hertogenbosch. This signals is set like this because of construction works on that line on that day. No normal trains are using that line at that moment. On our way to Utrecht we take it easy with the speed. A freight train is planned on the tracks ahead of us. And this also gives more comfort to our passengers on this pretty bumpy line. The ground is very soft here. Utrecht. Almost all NS-trains in The Netherlands cross this station in their journey.
