Prasar Bharati Archives presents 'Tehreer' Munsi Premchand Ki.. which is a small collection of tales dealing with harsh realities of poverty and daily struggles of city-folks. An adaption of some of the finest works from famous Indian writer Munshi Premchand. Hajj-E-Akbar (हज-ए-अकबर) Abbasi works as a housemaid in a rich Muslim family. The little son of the young couple she works for, is very attached to her. She saves money to perform Haj. The little child is so upset at the thought of her absence that he starts fretting, refuses to eat and gets really ill. Abbasi has started on her journey when she hears that the little one's condition has worsened.
