Baits and techniques come and go like the weather. Some stick around longer than others. Anglers tend to gravitate to the newest fads and gimmicks, often forgetting the things that once worked. Young anglers simply have never been exposed to some of the old stuff that worked great. Granted, some newer baits are so versatile that they effectively replace some of the older stuff. But make no mistake. What worked once can (and does) still work. Many of my rods are still (and ALWAYS) rigged with tried and true favorites. Luckily for me, everyone else is chasing the latest gimmick so my tried and true arsenal of fishing weapons still catch fish as good as the day they were first introduced. Once such weapon is the weedless spoon. I did a video a few years back that was well received with many views. Since I have been catching fish on spoons lately, I thought I would release a new video and share some long guarded weedless spoon secrets.
