The Newereal M18-S T-Rex came out a few years ago. It was a pretty generic, cheap 3D printer that came and went. The basic structure of the 3D printer worked fine but the direct drive hot-end combination was simply awful. This machine looks very similar to the Fokoos Odin-5 F3 that came out a year later, but with a smaller print volume. My goal is to rid this machine of the terrible hot end by modifying the LGX/Mosquito upgrade offered for the Artillery Sidewinder X1/X2 3D printers, since the x axis gantry is very similar. This lead to a lot of upgrading of an upgrade and even more technical difficulties to make everything work!
