Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of visiting the Indonesian Food Bazaar held at the KJRI Toronto. This event was a delightful celebration of Indonesian cuisine, showcasing a wide variety of dishes from across the archipelago. The bazaar was bustling with activity, with visitors eager to sample the authentic flavors of Indonesia. The stalls were overflowing with delicious food, from the savory nasi padang and satay ayam to the sweet lemper and es campur. Each dish was prepared with care and passion, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of Indonesia. In addition to the food, the bazaar also featured a gamelan music performance, which added to the festive atmosphere. The traditional Indonesian instruments created a captivating melody, transporting guests to the heart of Indonesia.
