#baidyapur #rakhalraja #bonedibarirpujo #satdeul আবার অনেক অজানা গল্প খোঁজের নেশায় , এক সপ্তাহান্তে পাড়ি দিলাম কলকাতা থেকে ৮০ কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত, পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলার এক গ্রাম বৈদ্যপুর। বৈদ্যপুর পৌঁছতেই দেখতে পেলাম একটি নবরত্ন মন্দিরের ভগ্নাবশেষ। যদিও টেরাকোটার কাজ অনেকটাই অক্ষত। নবরত্ন মন্দিরের পাশেই একটি আটচালা মন্দির দাঁড়িয়ে। আটচালা মন্দিরেও টেরাকোটার অলংকরণ রয়েছে। একটু এগোতেই ডানহাতে, বৈদ্যপুরের জমিদার নন্দী পরিবারের ঠাকুরবাড়ি। ঠাকুরবাড়িতে তৈরী হচ্ছে দুর্গাঠাকুর। প্রস্তুতি চলছে কয়েকশো বছর ধরে পালন করে চলা পুজো প্রথার। বৈদ্যপুর বাজারের কাছে ভারতীয় প্রত্নতত্ত্ব বিভাগ দ্বারা সংরক্ষিত একটি জোড়া দেউল মন্দির রয়েছে। পাল রাজাদের দ্বারা নির্মিত এই দেউলগুলির স্থাপনকাল ১৫৫০ খ্রিস্টাব্দ। মন্দিরের দেয়ালগুলিতে পোড়ামাটির অলংকরণ চোখে পড়ে। দেউলগুলির থেকে হাঁটাপথে একটুখানি দূরত্বে অবস্থিত একটি অষ্টকোণাকৃতি রাসমঞ্চ। রাসমঞ্চের সামনে ছোট্ট মাঠ আর মাঠের এক পাশে একটি দোলমঞ্চ অবস্থিত। ঠাকুরবাড়ির কাছে একটি পঞ্চরত্ন মন্দির রয়েছে। এই মন্দিরের পাশের রাস্তায় অবস্থিত নন্দী পরিবারের কাছারিবাড়ি। কাছারিবাড়ির অন্দরমহলে অবাধে প্রবেশ করলাম। কিছুক্ষন ধরে ঘুরে পেলাম সেই সাবেকিয়ানার অনুভূতি। কাছারিবাড়ির বিপরীতে অবস্থিত নন্দী পরিবারের বৈঠকখানা। জনৈক কৃষ্ণভক্ত রামকানু গোস্বামী ও তার পূজিত ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণের কাহিনী এখানে লোকমুখে প্রচলিত। এই গ্রামের জাগ্রত দেবতা রাখাল রাজ। ভগবান কৃষ্ণ এখানে রাখাল রাজ রূপে নিত্যপূজিতো। দুপুর বারোটার মধ্যে এলে পুজো ও আরতি দেখতে পাওয়া যায় । জনমতে রাখাল রাজএর মূর্তি তৈরী করেন বাঘনাপাড়া নিবাসী, পাঁচ বছর বয়সী শ্রী মহাদেব ভাস্কর। স্বপ্নাদেশ পেয়ে, মন্দিরের পাশের যমুনা পুস্করিণীতে, ভাসমান একটি নিমকাঠ দিয়ে তৈরী এই রাখালরাজএর মূর্তি। মন্দির দর্শনের পর খালি পেটে আমাকেও ফিরতে হয়নি , যথাসময়ে রাখাল রাজের কৃপায় ভোগপ্রাপ্তি হয়েছিল। এরপর চললাম বাংলার আরেক গ্রাম দেউলিয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে। এই গ্রামে অবস্থিত, উড়িষ্যার রেখ দেউল শৈলী অবলম্বনে নির্মিত মন্দির, সাত দেউল। আবার অনেক ঐতিহাসিকদের মতে এটি পাল রাজাদের তৈরী একটি স্থাপত্য। পুরাতত্ব বিভাগের মতে এর নির্মাণকাল খ্রীস্টিয় দশম শতাব্দী। ইঁট দিয়ে নির্মিত এই মন্দিরের ক্রমবর্ধমান খিলান দেখার মতো। দিকনির্দেশ : হাওড়া থেকে মেনলাইনের বর্ধমান লোকাল ধরে বৈচী স্টেশনে নেমে টোটো নিয়ে ঘুরে নিতে পারবেন বৈদ্যপুর এবং রাখাল রাজ মন্দির। সাত দেউল আসতে গেলে মেমারী স্টেশনে নেমে টোটো করে যেতে হবে। Again with the addiction of finding many unknown stories of Bengal, in a weekend I went to Baidyapur, a village in East Burdwan district, 80 km from Kolkata. Preparations are underway for the ritual of Puja which has been observed for hundreds of years. According to historians, Nandi's zamindari began in the seventeenth century. There are a pair of Deul temples preserved by the Archeology Department of India near the Baidyapur Bazaar. One deul is big in height, another deul is short. Built by the Pala kings, these deuls date back to 1550 AD. Terracotta decorations are visible on the walls of the temple. On one side of the Rasmancha is the temple of Navaratna Vrindavanchandra. I could not enter as it was closed due to renovation. There is a pancharatna temple near Thakurbari. Nandi family Kacharibari is located on the road next to this temple. I freely entered the interior of Kacharibari. . Nandi family's Baithakkhana is located opposite Kacharibari. The story of a Krishna devotee Ramakanu Goswami and his worshiped Lord Krishna is popular here. Rakhal Raja is the awakened deity of this village. Lord Krishna is worshiped here as a shepherd king. According to public opinion, the idol of Rakhal Raja was made by Baghanapara resident, five year old Sri Mahadev Bhaskar. Having received a dream, in the Yamuna Pond next to the temple, the image of this Rakhalraja made of floating neem wood. Rakhalraj with nadu in one hand and lathi in the other, standing between Gopinath and Raghunath. The hospitality of the temple attendants is worth remembering. Even I did not have to return with an empty stomach after visiting the temple, in time I was blessed by the grace of the shepherd king. After that, I went to another village in Bengal, Deulia. Located in this village, Sat Deul is a temple built in Odisha's Rekh Deul style. According to the Department of Archeology, its construction date is 10th century AD. Directions: From Howrah to Burdwan local of the mainline, get down at Baichi station and take a Toto to explore Baidyapur and Rakhal Raj Mandir.
