RAF Ternhill 1993 Revisited

Pictures taken in 1993 and scanned from old prints. It was an official visit and the Army were based there at the time and in fact still are. During my visit, I was not allowed to take pictures of many buildings including accommodation, MT, etc. There had been a recent terrorist attack on the camp and I was surprised to get permission. Details and design numbers are taken from an original RAF site plan. On the main site, the only hangars that remain are the Bellman and the Aircraft Repair Shed. I can see from google maps that many of the technical buildings on the main site have also gone. Many of the dispersed sites are still there and perhaps the subject of a future movie. Viewers must be advised that the main station is still occupied by the Army and no attempt should be made to enter without first receiving full permission.
