'Homesick' is the second single taken from our sophomore E.P 'Selfhood' available NOW on 12" Vinyl and Digital via Scylla Records. Being in a band is one the most incredible and rewarding experiences ever, but it doesn't come without it's downsides. Homesick is a song about those downsides. The long journeys, late nights and constant doubt of whether you're wasting your time on a dead end dream. For this music video we wanted to showcase some of the best times we've had in the band, it features clips from our first ever U.K headline tour, playing Slam Dunk Festival, recording Selfhood and eating some Carolina Reaper Chillis (okay, that last one actually sucked but it made for good footage). Long drives, the open road, so many miles between us inducing a sickness, I know that words on a screen never sound how they mean, I never say what I mean. The sky turns to black and I’m still far from slumber, is this a lost cause? Cause I’m not getting younger. I’m falling behind whilst you’re falling asleep, I’m losing my mind, wasting time, a black sheep. Maybe one day I’ll find my peace and wake up to a scripted destiny, I can’t face to work a dull routine, I’ll keep my eyes open wide heading for the horizon. Trapped within these four walls, I fear they’ll become my tomb I’m cemented in, it never occurred to roll down the window and breathe the air I found.
