Sweet Potato Cobbler Ingredients: 1-40 oz can Bruce’s Yams 1 stick butter (melted) 1 cup sugar 1 cup self-rising flour 1 cup milk 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon Melt butter in the bottom of a 2-quart oval casserole dish, set aside. Remove the sweet potatoes from the can and slice into bite size pieces. Place pieces on top of melted butter and sprinkle potatoes with cinnamon. Add enough of the sweet potato syrup (approximately ¼ - ½ cup) to almost cover the potatoes. In a separate bowl combine sugar, flour, brown sugar, and milk. Mix well to combine. Pour mixture over potatoes. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.
