If you haven’t done it, grinding down or “shaving” the back side of the engine may sound scary. Here’s a little before and after showing that you really don’t need to remove much and the best way to go about it a little at a time. Re-installing the rear wheel and letting it rub a little won’t hurt anything as you check for clearance.
