11-year-old actress Ella Grace Helton fielded questions from the 2024 SLO Film Festival audience after the screening of the feature film “Chosen Family,” in which she stars alongside the film’s writer/director Heather Graham and John Brotherton. Ella answered questions about her dance skills, collaborating with an open-minded director, what it was like working on this film, what she’s currently working on and what she’d like to do in the future.
