Trains at Maidenhead Station (08/08/16)

Trains at Maidenhead Maidenhead station is on the Great Western Mainline, two stops east of Reading on the Thames Valley line. Service are provided only by Great Western Railway (however most of the branding is still First Great Western). Services are provided by GWR's Class 165 Networker Turbostars and include 4tph to London Paddington (2 from Oxford, 2 from Reading), 1tph to Marlow via Bourne End (branch shuttle) 2tph to Reading (all stations) 2tph to Oxford (these were only running to Didcot due to engineering work at Oxford) Plus extra weedway peak services GWR Highspeed services also pass though the station regularly at around 125mph with services to Cardiff Central, Exeter St Davids, Penzance, Swansea, Cheltenham Spa, Worcester and Oxford using GWR's large Intercity 125 HST fleet and Class 180 'Adelantes' The slow lines also host many freight train which have come from the north via the North London Line, Southampton, Dagenham Docks, Avonmouth and Crewe.
