Nottingham | Threatened in my home town for filming a journey

In my home town Nottingham England United Kingdom, Nottingham is the centre of England. I was travelling to an appointment and decided to document my journey, so I was walking through the city centre and this dude started telling me that I needed his permission to record him although it was him that approached me and I was not filming him, I was filming my journey. I stopped filming just to respect his wishes and then we had a quick talk about laws and things, we agreed to disagree and I walked away and that is when he threatened to take my camera, also before this I think I heard the word 'dead', let me know what you hear.
