There are 54 sovereign countries in Africa, These countries all offer different cultures, various landmarks, industrial centers, diverse population and numerous entertainment options. Within every country there are elements of beauty that can be found but are certainly some that stands out more than others. According to the UN World Tourism Organization report, Africa recorded a 2% increase in its tourism sector in 2014, leading to an estimated $36 billion in revenue, a great improvement from the previous year. The world Travel and Tourism Council also reports that tourism and travel contributed about 8.5% to the continent’s GDP, which is more than $177 billion. Nigeria officially the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Nigeria is a country in West Africa, bordering Niger in the north, Chad in the northeast, Cameroon in the east, and Benin in the west. Its coast in the south is located on the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean. It is most often referred to as the giant of Africa since it has the largest economy on the continent as well as the largest population with close to 200 million people. The federation comprises 36 states and 1 Federal Capital Territory, where the capital, Abuja, is located. Part of what makes Nigeria a beautiful and interesting country is its booming entertainment industry and rich cultures. Some of the best Movies and best shows on the continent have been filmed in Nigeria. Nigeria also boasts of beautiful cities such as Abuja and Lagos which ranks amongst the most beautiful cities in Africa. 9. Namibia Namibia is not only a beautiful country aesthetically, it is also one of the most peaceful and richest countries in Africa. Officially the Republic of Namibia , Namibia is a country in southern Africa. Its western border is the Atlantic Ocean; it shares land borders with Zambia and Angola to the north, Botswana to the east and South Africa to the south and east. It has a population of about 2.6 million Inhabitants and a population density if 3 per kilometer square making the country the most sparsely populated country in Africa in terms of population density. Namibia's economy is tied closely to South Africa's due to their shared history. The largest economic sectors are mining (10.4% of the gross domestic product in 2009), agriculture (5.0%), manufacturing (13.5%), and tourism. Namibia has a highly developed banking sector with modern infrastructure, such as online banking and cell phone banking. The capital city Windhoek is one of the cleanest in Africa. Namibians has a relatively higher standard of living compared to most Africa countries and is currently one of the most beautiful countries in Africa. 8. Tanzania Tanzania is defiantly a must see country of Eastern Africa for the more adventurous travelers, Tanzania reserves so many places to discover. It is the ideal destination to unlock the mysteries of the savannah and see more closely the wildest animals. The country has a population of about 55.5 million people with over 100 languages spoken in the country making its one of the linguistically diverse countries on the continent. Its capital city is Dodoma and its largest and most populous city is Dar es salaam which also ranks as one of the most beautiful cities in Tanzania. Tanzania is home to the highest mountain in Africa called Mount Kilimanjaro which attracts thousand of tourist to the country each year. Tunisia With an impressive natural wealth, Tunisia is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful countries in Africa. From north to south, Tunisia offers so many surprises to discover: the sandy beaches, mountains and impressive national parks and a magic desert. Tunisia also keeps fingerprints of different civilizations; you would therefore be entitled to contemplate the most beautiful natural landscapes that mix with grandiose monuments that date back to thousands of years. Tunisia is located in the northern part of Africa and has a population of over 11 million people. Tunisia is one of the most Developed countries in Africa with an outstanding Education system and a Commendable police force.
