I built this for my 2-year old son. It was quite some planning, wood cutting, 3D printing, Arduino programming, soldering, and painting. The whole project took about 8 months but I worked on it mostly in the evenings whenever I had time. It took me several iterations because he kept destroying the things (especially the doors). The busy board gives audio feedback using pre-recorded voices of myself and my wife, numbers, colors, etc. There are multiple locks in different styles, a multi-purpose lift, a ventilator, and a few other mechanical things. MP3 player plays his favorite songs. I custom designed and built the kitchen and some of the tools in the kitchen (mixer, electric stove, etc.). Music: "Small Guitar" by bensound.com
