This video can now b watched in higher definition here    • Russ Conway (The Gang´s All Here- Par...   This show was organised, produced and compered by Jack Seaton on behalf of the RAF gang shows and called "The Gang´s All Here". I´m afraid I don´t know which theatre or where it was filmed from. I seem to remember that it was a charity performance so all of the acts would have given of their time freely and were not paid. It would have been performed around 1990 I imagine but again I am not sure. It was a very good show with lots of well known faces in it....Jim Davidson, Russ Conway, Reg Cooper, Cardew Robinson, Chubby Oates, Don Smoothey, Joe Black and Drew Miller. There are a few other faces that pop up, I need some help naming them all! In this clip Russ Conway who´s greatest hits included "side saddle", "mack the knife", "the Westminster waltz", and " pixilated penguin" treats us to a musical medley. Russ was a Merchant Navy man himself and during the second world war, he earned the distinguished service medal in the Royal Navy for "gallantry and devotion to duty" in mine-sweeping in the Mediterranean. He was close to Ralph Reader and respected and admired him greatly. If you recognise anyone or can give me details of where and when this show was I´d appreciate your comments. When I have finished uploading all the segments I will put this entire show (in 13 parts) on my channel in a playlist called "The Gang´s All Here". It will include all scenes from the show and not just the big name spots. So for all you scouts out there, enjoy.
