We stop in the French Alps on the way to Italy. They are absolutely stunning, and we fell in love with them. But maaaaan are they expensive! We decided to do the top recommended activity in Chamonix, head up the cable car to Aguille de Midi, we read the reviews and debated whether this was a cost we could justify. In the end we decided to do it and bring you guys along for the spectacular views! But the question is... was it worth it? We also stopped off in Annecy which is the Venice of the Alps, absolutely stunning, we get a beautiful wild swim to cool us off in the scorching temperatures. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. So after waiting for six months for the borders to reopen in Ireland we have finally hit the road in June 2021 and spent 90 days enjoying vanlife in Spain. Then we spent the next two months enjoying vanlife in Croatia before heading onto Serbia which stole our hearts. Now we have journeyed from there into Turkey where we are meeting lots of fellow vanlifers.
