I wasn’t really convinced that we’ll see a Kindle Color anytime soon, because there have been rumors about a Kindle with a color E-Ink screen for more than ten years. Amazon even bought a dutch company called Liquavista at one point, which sparked a lot of speculation about a Kindle Color in 2013. But nothing really came off it. But recently - thanks to E-Ink Kaleido 3 - Color E-Ink has been gaining a lot of traction with some smaller companies like Boox and PocketBook.
