Sibiu: Romania's Most Picturesque Town

In the heart of the Transylvania region is the city of Sibiu, Romania. There are not many places in the world, with more beauty and charm. Watch as I spend a day and a half, exploring what there is to see. Together, we'll discover centuries old towers, the narrow streets of Old Town, the historic Bridge of Lies and you'll find out why Sibiu is called the "City of Eyes". Having retired in 2023, I now travel full-time, seeing places all around the world. My idea for YouTube is to make the videos more about the places and people along the way, than about me. I hope that the experience for you is both entertaining and educational. Perhaps you will come away from my channel with ideas about places you would like to visit or be inspired to forge your own way. I travel slowly, spending four or five weeks in each destination. Hopefully, that will allow me to go beyond the surface to find the essence of each location. By the end of 2024, I will have visited 14 countries and five of the seven continents.
