Quite a departure from the normal detailing videos! We did a camshaft swap in a 2009 Trailblazer SS to remedy a lifter noise with the factory LS2. These have known issues with lifters going bad, since cylinder head removal is required for a lifter change we figured why not freshen up the camshaft, timing set, water pump, and all front drive accessories and give the truck a full service as well. Enjoy the time-lapse, this one was difficult to work on, they don't leave you a ton of room. I did NOT drop the oil pan to remove the pump pickup tube, I took my time and used a few different tools to sneak the bolt in and out, yes it can be done, yes you must be extremely patient. It beats removing the front drivetrain though to drop the pan for 1 single bolt!
