White Cloud Mountain Minnow Breeding (SUPER SIMPLE!)

White cloud mountain minnow breeding is super easy and can be accomplished by most aquarists. White cloud mountain minnows do not require special water parameters or special care to get them to breed. A simple set up like the one shown in this video is all you need to get started with white cloud fish breeding. The most important thing to get your white cloud mountain minnow breeding is to feed them good quality food. This is called “conditioning” which essentially means getting your fish ready to breed by providing good food to allow the white cloud minnow to put on body mass and produce many white cloud minnow eggs. After a few weeks of conditioning the white cloud minnows you will start to see tiny fry on the surface of the water. In my experience I have not experienced white cloud mountain minnows eating their fry, so you do not have to remove the adults and you can maintain a breeding colony of white cloud minnows that continually produce fry. Pretty soon you will have a booming colony of white cloud mountain minnows that are consistently producing babies and after a couple months the juvenile white cloud fish will start to develop their colours.
